Tatiana Cheladyn holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Contemporary Dance from Simon Fraser University (Vancouver, BC). She teaches dance and movement at various schools and studios in Edmonton, AB. She has shown her choreography at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival, Expanse Festival, Nextfest, Victoria School of the Arts, St. Theresa’s Catholic Middle School, with Punctuate! Theatre, as a product of a Mile Zero Dance residency, and independently.  Tatiana has choreographed at least 17 musicals for both children and adults, including Mary Poppins, Footloose, Guys and Dolls, Grease, and Beauty and the Beast. Tatiana has danced professionally in both Edmonton and Vancouver. She is the recipient of various choreography awards, the Good Women New Work Award, and the Enbridge Emerging Artist Award. Tatiana has continued her dance education by taking classes in London (UK), Italy, Ukraine, and the USA, primarily studying Gaga technique while abroad. Tatiana also loves making dances for film and writing about dance.
