Come and explore the traditional African rhythms originating from Guinea and Senegal. We connect, from soul to sole with the sounds of LIVE DRUMMING. Leaving it all on the dance floor. No dance experience necessary. 

Registrations can be completed online or in person at the studio or over the phone (provided you already have an account with J'Adore Dance). Payment must be received at the time of registration. 

Refunds for workshops will not be issued. Cancellations received more than 48 hours prior to the workshop start date will receive a studio credit for the cost of the workshop. Credits are valid for 12 months from the original workshop start date. Cancellations received within 48 hours of the workshop start date will be ineligible for class credit. Cancellation requests must be received in writing (info@jadoredance.com) and can only be processed by management. 


Masani

Dive into the culture of West Africa and take a spiritual, musical journey. These dances are full of joy and rhythm, and are sure to energize your week! Our West African class is taught by Masani St. Rose-Toth, a captivating and authentic instructor with infectious enthusiasm. Masani is a native Calgarian who started dancing at the tender age of 3, specializing in West African and Caribbean dance. Upon the introduction to dance, Masani found passion for the West African culture and style. It was through training under Michèle Moss-Johnston at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, she was able to build her foundation. Still working very closely with Michèle Moss-Johnston and various other artists from Guinea, West Africa, she finds every opportunity to take master classes from artists from various regions of Africa including, Congo, Uganda, Ghana, Mali, Guinea and Zimbabwe. Throughout the years, Masani has worked with various studios and professional groups across Canada. It is her mission to keep the art and culture alive from soul to sole!
