Erin B

Instructor

Erin Brese is a dancer from Edmonton Alberta Canada. Erin took her first dance class when she was just 5 years old at Dance Unlimited. Every week she looked forward to slipping on her ballet shoes and getting her body moving! She continued to dance recreationally up until Junior High when she then decided to pursue dance at a competitive level at Edmonton Dance Factory. Erin was fortunate to partake in numerous dance competitions in Western Canada while studying jazz, ballet, lyrical, and musical theatre. Throughout this time Erin fell in love with the discipline of ballet and began to devote her time and focus to the practice of ballet. Erin auditioned for Dance Discovery’s competitive performance group at the age of 16 and successfully landed a spot in their ballet performance group. In her first year of University, she took ballroom dance classes which opened up a whole new area of interest! Erin recently became certified through the Mindful Living Institute with a certification in ‘Mindfulness and Movement for Children and Adolescents’.

Erin is currently entering her final year of Family Sciences at the University of Alberta and, afterwards, will begin her Masters of Science in Child Life. Erin has been an active member of the Stollery Children's Hospital as a Child Life volunteer and recently got hired in the Patient and Family Centred Care Department. Erin hopes to eventually work as a Certified Child Life Specialist to assist patients and families cope through the difficulties of hospitalization and medical diagnosis.

When Erin isn't dancing, she loves to travel, spend time with her family and friends...furry friends too, and work on her health blog! Erin is very excited to be an instructor at J'Adore, as she enters her 3rd season with the J'Adore Faculty. She is excited to continue to spread her love of dance while working with children!
