Terrific Tykes (Independent movers 11-30 months)
Terrific Tykes (Independent movers 11-30 months)
The word tyke means “one who is determined”. If your little tyke is busy, on the move and determined to learn new things this is the class for you! Now that your little one is off and exploring the world independently, join us each week while we explore dance, music and movement in a safe nurturing environment. Using the research and teachings of Anne Green Gilbert we will explore new dance and movement concepts each week that support your Tyke’s determination to explore, learn and grow physically, cognitively, and social-emotionally.
Dancing together with your child while exploring movement activities and practicing skills is not only lots of fun but very educational. Activities are taught that can be explored at home.
*** To keep our class sizes small, please keep to one caregiver per child (caregivers are welcome to switch from week to week) and no extra siblings. If you have a baby, he/she must stay in a bucket seat or a carrier. Thank you for your understanding. ***

Prop bags will be available for purchase at the time of registration and will be waiting for your child on the first day of their class. Prop bags will be sold for $30+GST.

- 2 dancing scarves
- 1 ribbon wand
- 2 rhythm sticks
- 1 bean bag
- 2 egg shakers
- Hand sanitizer
Registrations can be completed online or in person at the studio or over the phone (provided you already have an account with J'Adore Dance). Payment must be received at the time of registration.
