Kalabante Productions

Kalabanté Productions were created in 2007 by Yamoussa Bangoura, multidisciplinary artist of Guinean origin who always dreamed of founding a school of circus and have his own multidisciplinary company specialized in African arts.

Living in Montreal since the past several years, Yamoussa Bangoura, artistic director of the company, passes on and shares his values and passion by teaching various artistic disciplines he masters in the circus arts, African dance and traditional music of West Africa areas.

Thus, he directs his own shows that stand out of the Montreal's cultural landscape. Since the first production of the company, Kô Ryass, other shows such as Kumbaya, Uno, Kira Nene and Africa Land Circus were created. Several projects are underway for the next few years, in order to continue disseminate and promoting the company he values.

Kalabante Productions are proud to share their achievements that includes Canadian occidental arts and global arts, and created with a humanitarian mission to help the guinea community which Yamoussa comes from.
