Robyn has been dancing from an early age, training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, as well as musical theatre, through which she quickly discovered her passion for dance. Wishing to pursue this, she attended Victoria School of the Arts where she trained in dance technique and theory, as well as other art forms. Here she gained experience in performance as well as choreographing, completing the Dance International Baccalaureate program, and had the opportunity to work with notable artists such as Cornelius Carter and Peggy Baker. Robyn is an emerging choreographer, and has presented two works at NextFest. Robyn successfully completed the J’adore’s internship program and she is excited to begin teaching her own classes where she can combine her passions for dance and working with children, while completing her undergraduate degree in physics at the University of Alberta.
