Ballet Technique is the next step in your child's skating training.  This class will focus on improving technique and coordination with attention to detail as well as developing artistry and expression. There will be an emphasis on strengthening posture, carriage and fluidity of movement. The class will include barre, centre work combinations and across the floor progressions. The dancers will develop a strong base, proper alignment and clean technique.


Attire will consist of a bodysuit, pink tights, ballet slippers, with hair worn in a bun.

Registrations can be completed online or in person at the studio or over the phone (provided you already have an account with J'Adore Dance). Payment must be received at the time of registration. 

Programs at J'Adore Dance are in high demand, and sell out with long wait lists. As such, any registrations cancelled before the first class are subject to a $25 + GST administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after the start date of the class, however, we will issue credit valid for 12 months from the start date of the canceled program if the registration is canceled before the third class of the session. No refunds or credit will be granted after the start of the third class other than for serious illness or injury with medical documentation provided. Cancellation requests must be received in writing ( and can only be processed by management. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable.



Bridget was introduced to dance in junior high when she began attending Victoria School of Visual and Performing Arts. She quickly fell in love and has continued to pursue dance as a career ever since. She has extensive knowledge in choreography and dance interpretation with a BFA in Contemporary Dance from Concordia University in Montreal. During her time at Concordia she was trained by a number of prominent dance professionals and worked with some of Canada’s most promising emerging choreographers. Since graduating she has moved back to Edmonton and has worked with For Body & Light, Mile Zero Dance, Peggy Baker, Ainsley Hillyard, and Sophia Wright. She completed the Internship program with J'Adore dance teaching the Creative Jazz Ballet curriculum and recently completed her Intellidance Certification. She is thrilled to be part of such a joyful and inclusive community for youth and is excited to continue sharing her love of dance with the J'Adore community.
