Dance, Art, Drama, and Music are art-tastic!
Your budding artist will have the chance to explore dance and music through visual art, create with different mediums, and let their inner thespian shine in dramatic play and games. The camp week ends with a short dance/drama presentation for family. Dancers will explore a different artist each day and bring their work to life through dance and movement exploration.
A sample daily schedule:
1-1:15pm: Camp Arrival: Coloring sheets, quiet play
1:15-2:15pm: Daily Art Activities
2:30-2:30pm: Snack/Bathroom Break
2:30-2:45pm: Storytelling
2:45-4:00pm: Various dance, drama games, and music activities

Annie
Instructor
Annie has danced since she could walk and it has always been her true passion. Having had the privilege of training in many dance styles including finishing her Grade 6 RAD and Checchetti ballet, ISTD Jazz and Tap, she furthered her education, studied contemporary and obtained a Bachelor (HONS) Degree in Dance and Choreography at the University of Chichester in England.
Finishing university Annie successfully obtained a position to dance in the closing ceremonies of the London Olympics 2012, "It was the biggest performance of my life!"
The creative nature that dance can ignite has always interested her and as such choreography has become one of Annie's main focuses. Since joining J'Adore Dance she has had the pleasure of watching children delve into the creative processes of dance and explore choreography in a whole different light. She completed her Certification in Integrative Dance from Rhythm Works, Intellidance and maintains her First Aid and CPR.
