Do you love to Dance? Do you love to get Fit? This is your class! Come try this fun and upbeat dance fitness class. Each week participants will learn a new dance routine taught to non-stop music. Weekly themes include Jazz, Hip Hop, African, Bollywood, Dance Hall, Disco, Latin, and more---taught by your favourite J'Adore instructors! Each class is cardio-intense, so get ready to get your groove on while getting a fantastic work-out in!
Absolutely no dance experience necessary. Steps are easily broken down so even the most inexperienced dancers can feel successful.
Indoor Athletic shoes and comfortable clothing are recommended for this class.
Registrations can be completed online or in person at the studio or over the phone (provided you already have an account with J’Adore Dance). Payment must be received at the time of registration.
Registrations canceled before the day of the first class are subject to a $25 + GST administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after the start date of the class, however, we will issue credit valid for 12 months from the start date of the canceled program if the registration is canceled before the third class of the session. No refunds or credit will be granted after the start of the third class other than for serious illness or injury with medical documentation provided. Cancellation requests must be received in writing (firstname.lastname@example.org) and can only be processed by management.
Amanda has been teaching fitness for the last five years, but her passion for health and wellness stems from her involvement in the dance community. Growing up, Amanda was passionate about her Ukrainian heritage and dance. Her parents enrolled her in Ukrainian dance classes and that's where it all began. At the age of 18, Amanda moved to Edmonton to complete her BSc at the U of A and dance with the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers. For ten years she danced and performed with the company while also teaching dance throughout Alberta. After retiring from the company and completing her MBA at the U of A, Amanda grew passionate about fitness and eventually completed her professional fitness certification through the AFLCA. She has been teaching dance fitness ever since and is thrilled to introduce her daughter Grace to her love of dance. She maintains her First Aid and CPR.
