Be a Triple Threat! Is your child passionate about singing, dancing, and acting? Well look no further! With a focus on voice technique, movement, and drama, participants with enjoy learning age-appropriate material in a positive and supportive environment. Each week we will work through movement and Improv exercises to build drama skills and dance technique. Participants will work on three performance pieces to share including their winter term recital piece. Self-expression, self-confidence, communication skills, and social interaction are just a few of the benefits participants will experience in our Musical Theatre Program!
At J’Adore Dance we view our Musical Theatre dancers as part of our community. As a community, we expect families who enter our JDance Musical Theatre program to be ready to commit to a full year program, including attending in-class sharings throughout the dance year (during regularly scheduled class time) and a special theatre recital (Dates listed in Policy Handbook). Our theatre recital allows special friends and family members to view our dancers’ hard work and give your dancer the opportunity to perform on stage! If you are unsure if your family can make a full year commitment we highly recommend registering in one of our sessional preschool or kids programs.
