Kate began her dance training in Edmonton at the age of 10, in a variety of styles such as ballet, jazz, acro, lyrical, and modern at Flexpointe Studios. Throughout her time dancing, she volunteered as a class assistant, which cultivated her passion to teach dance. She has trained in the advanced syllabi of RAD and ADAPT, completing multiple exams in ballet and jazz along the way.
Kate is a student at the University of Alberta, in the Dietetics Specialization, hoping to pursue a career as a public health dietitian improving the food environments of communities and schools. At the University of Alberta, she is also a member of MOD contemporary dance movement. This is a student-led, student-run dance company that allows her to explore her creativity, choreograph and create lifelong connections.
Kate is excited to join the J'Adore faculty of inspiring and passionate dance educators and to continue sharing her love of dance.
