Joanna started dancing in Calgary at the Barvinok Ukrainian Dance Society and has had a love for Ukrainian dance her whole life. After moving to Fort McMurray she joined the Avrora Ukrainian Dance Club and Uptown Dance where she started ballet, jazz, musical theatre, and her favourite style of dance; modern. Joanna's favourite thing about dance is being part of a community of people who share a love for self-expression through movement. Joanna is currently studying Elementary Education at the University of Alberta and is excited to be a part of J’Adore, expanding her skills in dance and inspiring younger dancers.
