Jilly has been dancing for 13 years and is looking forward to continuing to take after her mom, her mentor. Jilly has danced for many studios including Cloverdale Community League, For the Love of Dance, Scoil Rince Clannad, Monsignor Fee Otterson School, and is currently dancing at J'Adore Dance under the Youth Performance Program. Jilly is grateful that she has had many opportunities to dance in events such as the Festival of Trees, Heritage Days, St. Patrick's Day shows, and halftime shows for the Edmonton Oil Kings and Edmonton Stingers. Jilly competed in Irish Dance and won the first Feis Award when she was only 6 years old. Jillian has danced Irish, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and her favourite, Tap. Jilly has danced under Ms. Chantel, Ms. Jenna, Ms. Bridget, and Michael and Tara Toal. Jilly loves to be on as many sports teams as she can, including soccer and basketball, as well as track and field events including 800m, 1500m, and Triple Jump. She enjoys being a member of a team because she can encourage and assist others in achieving their goals. Her Glee Club has won many awards including First Place in Provincials and Nationals. Jilly began he teaching path as a junior class assistant 7 years ago and successfully completed the Internship program last year. She is excited to get to work along side her mom as well as taking on her own classes this year as she continues her education in Culinary Arts at NAIT. Jilly can't wait to share her passion for the arts with her young dancers.
