Adaptadance
Dance For All
The Adaptadance™ program is for children and youth who are neurodivergent, such as those with autism and other neurological or sensory processing disorders, or children who may benefit from the structure, smaller class size, and specialized curriculum.
The Adaptadance™ program is focused on conceptual dance education, and Anne Green Gilbert’s BrainDance research providing a strong foundation of creative movement where dance concepts are explored weekly. Creative dance, imagination, and expression are combined with developmentally appropriate movement, music, and dance technique to create a class that is engaging for all! Dancers and their caregivers explore a variety of music genres and props to develop their dance ability. Teachers will also work with dancers on classroom routine and etiquette, taking turns, and working with others.
